Because Troop 5, Middlebury, CT wants to demonstrate its commitment to privacy, Troop 5 is making this disclosure of its information practices.  This disclosure will tell you:

  • What personably identifiable information will be displayed on this site and how it will be displayed
  • What procedure you have to follow in order to opt out of any information being displayed.

Personably Identifiable Information on this site

Occasionally the names of Scouts and adults will be displayed on this website.  Under no circumstances will a Scout's name be associated with any photograph.  When a Scout's name is displayed, we will only publish first names and last initials (i.e. Jeff L.).  No contact information for any Scout will be displayed on this website.  Unless permission is given, no photograph or likeness of any Scout or Adult Leader will be displayed.  Adult Leader contact information will be masked behind a forwarding email address (i.e. scoutmaster@troop5middlebury.org); real email addresses will never be published. 

Opt-Out Procedures

All members of Troop 5 must sign an "Authorization to use Personal Information on Troop Website."  This form will give you the option to opt-out of any personably identifiable information from being displayed on this website.
