Meeting this Thursday/COH Update

FROM DAVE REDLINE:

Hi all,

I want to thank everyone who came to the Court of
Honor last week and especially those who helped put it
together, our chefs, Eric D for running the meeting,
and our scouts and families for a terrific night of
scouting. You should all be proud of your scouts – we
have a great group of young men in our troop. I look
forward to the summer, Philmont, and an exciting week
at Camp Mattatuck.

****We have a meeting this Thursday, June 19th at the
MRA for swimming at 6:00pm – 8:00pm.****

This Thursday is the last day to turn in permission
slips and/or money for the June campout.

If you have any questions please email or call me.
Have a safe and fun summer.
Yours in Scouting,
Dave

COURT OF HONOR UPDATE (from CarolSue Shannon):

The COH was wonderful, and I believe a good time was
had by all. I was fortunate enough to get lots of
help. I would particularly like to thank:
Jeff Lukens, for his help before and after the
ceremony, especially finding the extra serving tables
so we could go buffet style; Steve and Mr. Zembrowski
for volunteering to pick up the tables at the church;
Tommy C. for all his help setting up and cleaning up;
Eric D., for his help cleaning up; Nancy Pelczar for
bringing the paper goods and helping throughout the
ceremony; Denise Black, Tefta Bushka, Patty Deangelis
and Sue Mayer, for their help before, during and after
the ceremony.
Dave Mulhall for bringing a grill and cooking, and
returning the tables to the church; Jackie Mulhall for
figuring out how to transport the grill, Faith Bannon
for bringing her grill, helping to set up and clean
up; Pat Bannon for cooking, Robin and Dave Redline for
volunteering their grill and to Adam Burns for cooking
on it; Frank Koskelowski, Brian Foley and Bill Shannon
for assisting the cooks. I certainly hope I did not
forget anyone-everyone was so terrific.
I would also like to thank all the families for what
they brought: there was quite a selection of drinks
offered, and delicious salads and desserts.
Thanks everyone!
CarolSue Shannon
