Memorial Day Activities / Troop Trailer towing
Memorial Day Activities:
This Sunday, May 25th, Troop 5 will once again
participate in the Middlebury Memorial Day
festivities. All Scouts and Scoutmasters are invited
by the town to participate in the cemetery service
(behind Middlebury Garage). Please arrive at 11:45
A.M. This is a short and moving serice sponsored by
the Middlebury Lion’s Club (big supporters of our
Troop) and several town dignitaries. Please wear your
Class A uniform.
The parade line-up begins at Perrotti’s Pizza at 4:30
P.M. that day. Please wear your Class A uniform.

Troop 5 Eagle Scouts have been invited to participate in the program
held after the parade at the Middlebury Town Hall.
From Tom Curry:
I need to know the year, make and model of anyone who
would be interested in towing the Troop trailer at
some point. All vehicles that are rated to tow up to
5000 pounds can tow the trailer. All half ton pickups
can tow it, also vehicles like Chevy Blazers and Ford
Explorers. For example I own a 2003 Chevy Surburban
3/4 ton with a 6 liter engine and it is 4 wheel drive.
I need to order the wiring harness that would fit the
vehicles. I will be placing the order in the next
couple of days so if they can call me or E-Mail me.
