Troop 5: Great News!!!
TROOP 5 IS GOING TO PHILMONT!!!!
Troop 5 will be traveling with the CT Rivers Council
contingent when it goes to the Boy Scouts of America
Philmont high-adventure camp in New Mexico. The trek
begins on July 12th, 2008 and returns July 26th, 2008.
The cost per participant will be $1,400 or less and
participants are required to fundraise 1/2 of their
cost.
A deposit of $250 each is needed by May 10th. So far,
Troop 5 has four adults (maximum allowed) and four
Scouts, so act quickly to reserve your spot for this
once in a life-time adventure. Four spots remain for
Scouts to participate.
To participate, Scouts must by 14 years old and
First-Class rank by January 1, 2008.
