lost knife at campout

Tuesday, March 27th, 2007

>From Chris M., Second Class scout

If anyone has found an M-tech 440 stainless steel
knife and/or a relatively worn swiss army knife, or
knows anything about them, please e-mail the following
address: jeff@troop5middlebury.org

The M-tech is blue and in almost new condition, with barely any
scratches on the blade. The swiss army has an
old-fashioned car on the front, and is missing the
tweezers and toothpick. The larger blade is bent and
scratched, and the smaller one has some scratches,
too. Thank- you for your cooperation.

Troop 5: Candy Sale

Wednesday, March 14th, 2007

Hello Troop 5:

We have four boxes of candy remaining – two are
peppermint and two are mixed (have been opened). If
it is at all possible, please help out by taking a box
at this Thursday night’s meeting. Just bring a check
for $36 made out to Troop 5. New families, if any of
you could see your way to taking a box – or even 1/2 a
box @ $18, it would be a big help.

Thanks so much!

take a moment to say hello. Show them the spirit of
Troop 5.

Today I emailed the minutes from the March 1,

I) The bottle drive is this weekend. Scouts are
needed for the 11-1:00 shift. We will also be selling
candy bars.

letter. Please return the card even if you are unable
to pledge. We need to reach all Troop 5 families.

IV) Assistant Scoutmaster Jeff Lukens will be doing a
presentation on Thursday, March 15th on the thrills
and adventure which ‘may’ await Troop 5 at Philmont in

Bottle Drive Saturday, March 10th

Sunday, March 4th, 2007

Hello,

Troop 5 will be having a bottle drive this Saturday,
March 10th from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. and 11:00 A.M.
to 1:00 P.M. We need parents for either of the two
shifts and we definitely need Scouts for the 11:00 to
1:00 shift. We will also be selling candy bars so a
few extra Scouts would be very helpful. We have 360
bars to go!!!

Contact Tom DeAngelis if you can help.

Thanks very much,

Maureen Marcucci
