Troop 5: Optional Meeting on December 7th

Tuesday, December 5th, 2006

Subject: Optional Meeting December 7th at 7 PM
Where: Congregational Church Social Room
Topic: Advancement Requirements/Merit Badges
>From Mr. Riddle, Assistant Scoutmaster:

Although there are no formal Troop meetings this month
due to swimming on Wednesdays a number of boys have
mentioned that they have worked on numerous
requirements at recent campouts and meetings but have
not had the chance to get them signed off. Assistant
Scout Masters Mr Jones, Mr Riddle and a couple of
senior scouts will be available at the church on
Thursday Dec 7th from 7:00pm to 8:30pm. If you need
advancement signed off for Tenderfoot, Second Class,
First Class or any merit badges you are working on
with Mr Jones or Mr Riddle, come prepared and we will
review them with you. This is an opportunity to get
advancement requirements signed off prior to the
next court of honor on Feb 1st. We will do what we can
to help but the idea is not to have a teaching
session.
If you are interested, contact Mr Jones or Mr Riddle
to let us know what requirements you want to attempt
to get signed so that we can plan accordingly.
