Cheers to Tefta Bushka! Only two boxes of candy remain from our candy drive. If you can sell a box, please contact Tefta.

We need parent volunteers for either the 9-11:00 or the 11-1:00 June 3rd Bottle Drive shifts. Please contact Tom DeAngelis at.

If you are going to go on a campout or are thinking of running a merit badge, BSA Youth Protection Training is required. You may do this online by going to http://www.ctrivers.org/training_programs.asp click on english or spanish to start. Service Opportunity

Friday, May 5th, 2006

Please note that Middlebury Congregational Church is our sponsoring organization and any help we can give back to them is appreciated. Many adults will be present so be assured that the Boy Scout two-deep requirement will be met.

From: Eddie R., Assistant Senior Patrol Leader

Any scouts interested in earning service hours can come to the Middlebury Congregational Church’s Flea Market at Shepardson (the brick building past the Middlebury Congregational Church) at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 6th, in order to help with clean-up. We will be moving items that have not been sold out to the dumpsters or moving items into various vehicles.
The work will continue until all of the items have been dealt with, but a rough time estimate would be about 2 hours; it depends on the number of people.

Although this is a sort of a Boy Scout project, I recommend that you wear your Troop 5 T-Shirt.

Any interested Scouts can contact me by phone. I just want to have a rough head count. If you are able to come, just come and find me during the clean-up to sign in and let me know when you leave so I can sign you out. This way I’ll be able to give everyone credit for their time.

Thanks, Eddie
